Job summary

Sama Talent Group seeks skilled Joiners and Cladding Operatives to construct, floor, and clad modular timber and steel frames. Working from technical drawings, you will prepare, install, and finish modular units to high quality and structural safety standards in a fast-paced production environment.

You will need a proven track record in joinery or cladding, with CSCS and NVQ qualifications. Experience with modular structures is highly preferred and blueprints reading is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in first/second fix joinery or commercial cladding, modular structures preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Skilled with standard hand tools, nail guns, and cutting machinery.
• Valid CSCS card (or regional equivalent) and relevant NVQ qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Frame Preparation: Lay structural flooring and sub-flooring onto modular steel or timber frames.
• Cladding Installation: Fix internal and external cladding, insulation, and vapor barriers using hand and power tools.
• Assembly & Joinery: Read and interpret technical drawings to measure, cut, and assemble timber structures and components.
• Quality & Safety: Inspect finished modules for structural accuracy, ensuring strict compliance with blueprints, design specs, and safety regulations.
