Job summary

Venatu Recruitment Group is seeking a Skilled Modular Joiner to join our growing manufacturing team involved in producing specialist modular healthcare facilities. You will build and assemble modular elements, install partitions and ceilings, and work with lightweight steel panels to exact drawings.

Ideal candidates have hands-on joinery experience, strong tool skills, and a proactive, safety-focused mindset. Immediate starts available with 3–6 month contracts, potential temp-to-perm.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or modular construction.
• Hands-on joinery, drywall, steel fabrication or construction.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Detail-oriented with a strong safety focus.
• Able to work in a physically demanding role.
• Good teamwork and communication.
• Experience with MEWPs or forklifts is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble modular building elements to drawings and specifications.
• Install drywall partitions, flooring systems, and ceiling structures.

• Carry out joinery, fabrication, and finishing tasks.
• Use a range of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Support installation, dismantling and maintenance of modular structures.

• Maintain high standards of health, safety, housekeeping and quality control.

Venatu Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a Skilled Modular Joiner.This is an excellent opportunity for a Skilled Modular Joinerlooking to join a growing manufacturing team involved in the production of specialist modular healthcare facilities.

As a Skilled Modular Joiner, you will play a key role within the production team, contributing to the assembly and construction of modular units while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

The Role

As aSkilled Modular Joiner, your responsibilities will include:

• Building and assembling modular building elements to drawings and specifications
• Installing drywall partitions, flooring systems, and ceiling structures
• Working with light gauge steel panels and structural modular components
• Carrying out joinery, fabrication, and finishing tasks
• Using a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Supporting the installation, dismantling, and maintenance of modular structures
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and production schedules
• Maintaining excellent standards of health & safety, housekeeping, and quality control

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience within manufacturing, modular construction, or a similar production environment
• Practical experience in joinery, drywall installation, steel fabrication, or general construction processes
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong experience using hand tools and power tools
• A proactive approach with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work safely in a physically demanding role
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Experience with MEWPs, fork trucks, or working at height would be beneficial but is not essential.
