Leeds City Council's Leeds Building Services invites applications for a Cat D – Joiner (inc uPVC). This permanent role delivers domestic joinery works in void/tenanted properties, with a 37-hour week and a salary of £33,366.

You'll work across Council properties, maintain stock/equipment, mentor apprentices, and uphold health and safety standards. A full driving licence and Level 2 NVQ/Apprenticeship are essential, with flexibility to work at different sites.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence and NVQ Level 2 in Joinery or equivalent.
• Proven ability to deliver joinery work in domestic properties.
• Strong health and safety knowledge and documentation handling.

Responsabilités

• Carry out repairs, maintenance and refurbishment works relevant to joinery trade.
• Maintain van stock and equipment; replenish as required.
• Communicate effectively with customers to deliver excellent service.
• Support apprentices/trainees and newer staff as needed.
