Job summary

Together Housing is seeking a Joiner to join our Repairs and Maintenance team, covering the Calderdale area. You will provide joinery repairs to tenanted and vacant properties with a customer service driven approach.

The role offers a starting salary of £33,758, a company van, 27 days annual leave (rising to 32), and a 37-hour week across five days with some Saturday work and an occasional on-call rota.

Qualifications

• Experience carrying out joinery repairs to tenanted and vacant properties.
• Ability to work across the Calderdale area and meet service standards.
• Full Criminal Disclosure will be required on offer.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all types of Joinery repairs to tenanted and vacant properties in accordance with job tickets, opti-time appointment slots, specifications and contract drawings, to good practice and Building Regulations.
• To work with a Right First Time ethos, completing repairs in one visit where practicable with quality workmanship.
• Organise work to minimise lost time and pro-actively adjust allocations as needed.
• Participate in standby or call-out rota as required by management.
• Diagnose and undertake repairs, obtaining approvals for more expensive or extended jobs.
• Work to high workmanship standards as part of a team to ensure efficient use of time, materials and resources.
• Covering the Calderdale area.
• Starting salary £33,758.
