Job summary

Together Housing Group is seeking a Joiner to join our Repairs and Maintenance team covering the Calderdale area. You will perform a range of joinery repairs to tenanted and vacant properties, delivering a customer-service driven, quality-focused repair and maintenance service.

This role offers a starting salary of £33,758, a company van, and a 37-hour week with a schedule that may span Monday to Saturday. Loyal service is recognised with generous annual leave and LGPS pension options.

Qualifications

• Experience in joinery repairs in social housing or similar environments.
• Commitment to high-quality workmanship and safety standards.
• Ability to plan and organise work to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all types of joinery repairs to tenanted and vacant properties in line with job tickets, appointments, specifications and drawings.
• Aim for 'Right First Time' repairs completed in one visit with good workmanship.
• Organise work to minimise downtime and reallocate tasks as needed.
• Participate in overtime, stand-by or call-out rota as required by management.
• Diagnose issues and adapt repairs within approved cost and time limits.
