Job summary

Mears Group PLC in Dundee is seeking a hardworking and reliable Joiner to deliver planned kitchen and bathroom replacements in social housing, ensuring homes are safe and well maintained.

This full-time, permanent role is 42.5 hours per week with a rate of £21.50 per hour, plus a company van, fuel card, and uniform. You will fit and adjust units, record details on handheld devices, and work well both in a team and on your own initiative.

Qualifications

• Experience fitting interiors in social housing settings.
• Site-based Joiner experience and a full UK manual driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day planned kitchen and bathroom replacements in social housing properties.
• Fit and adjust kitchen units, bathrooms, worktops, cupboard doors, and pelmets.
• Install or replace skirting boards, architraves, and other decorative joinery.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety regulations.
• Accurately record job details, materials used, and completion notes using handheld devices or job sheets.

We’re currently seeking a hardworking and reliable Joiner to join our team in Dundee. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality planned kitchen and bathroom replacements in social housing properties, helping ensure residents’ homes are safe, functional, and well maintained. No two days are the same, and your ability to work efficiently, solve problems on‑site, and provide excellent customer service will be essential.

• Carry out day-to-day planned kitchen and bathroom replacements in social housing properties.
• Fit and adjust kitchen units, bathrooms, worktops, cupboard doors, and pelmets
