We are looking for a passionate and qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our team and provide outstanding care and education for children aged 0–5 years.

You will play a key role in supporting the development of a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where every child can thrive and reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities Plan and implement engaging and age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Build strong, supportive relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Observe, monitor, and assess children's development, maintaining accurate and confidential records. Support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development through effective interaction and play. Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children at all times. Work collaboratively with the nursery team to create a positive, inclusive, and welcoming environment.

Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness, including supporting toileting and meal routines. Participate in regular staff meetings, training, and continuous professional development. Adhere to all safeguarding policies, procedures, and statutory requirements. Requirements Minimum Level 2-3 Early Years qualification (e.g. NVQ, CACHE, or equivalent). Sound knowledge of the EYFS and child development. Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting. Good communication and teamwork skills. A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach.

An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one). Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures. Desirable Paediatric First Aid Certificate. SEN experience or training. Knowledge of health & safety and food hygiene regulations.

Shifts - Optional- Monday to Friday 2pm to 6pm or Monday to Friday, 12.00pm-5.45pm (cover nursery lunches then after school club)

All year round, 4 weeks holidays with additional holidays added for long service plus all bank holidays and a week at Christmas paid.

Overtime offered in the nursery for holiday covers.

Holiday clubs - Monday to Friday, 7.45am to 5.45pm, minimum of 2 days per week.

Salary is based on qualification and experience you have and working hours to be discussed.
