Chesterfield Borough Council is hiring flexible, reliable staff to join the Building Cleaning Team on a part-time basis. The role offers up to 15 hours per week across various locations within the borough, including public toilets, parks, offices and housing communal areas.

Duties include sweeping, mopping, window cleaning, waste disposal and assisting with cleaning equipment. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK; sponsorship is not available.

Candidates must possess the necessary right to work authorisation to enable them to work for Chesterfield Borough Council. Regrettably, we are unable to provide sponsorship or assume sponsorship of an employment visa at this juncture.

We are looking for flexible, reliable people to join our Building Cleaning Team. A range of contracts is available, offering up to 15 hours per week. Including weekend working.

We have locations to clean both within and externally of the borough of Chesterfield. This will include public toilets, parks pavilions, office buildings, communal areas of housing complexes plus void and tenanted housing properties.

What the role involves

The work can be physically demanding and includes aspects of manual handling. Duties may include:
