Job summary

Think FE Ltd in Moulton, Northamptonshire, is recruiting a Job Coach to work in a supportive further education setting. You will help young people with additional needs access and succeed in supported work placements.

You will collaborate with learners, employers and external support agencies to create inclusive workplaces where each learner can develop skills and gain workplace experience, with the aim of progression into paid employment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people with moderate to severe learning disabilities.
• Experience networking with employers and support agencies.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to support young people confidently and sensitively in workplace environments.

Responsibilities

• Support young people with additional needs to access and succeed in supported work placements.
• Work with learners, employers and external support agencies to create inclusive working environments.
• Build relationships with local employers and support both employer and intern to transition into paid employment.
