About The Role
As a Job Coach you will assist students to develop appropriate skills relevant to open employment through training and workplace opportunities. As the student becomes more independent you will gradually withdraw support and a measure of success is the student obtaining and retaining successful and worthwhile employment.
Main Responsibilities
- Detailed analyses of potential job placements.
- Detailed job matching between students and work placements.
- Providing an appropriate level of support and guidance to students, their families/carers, employers and co-workers prior to, during and subsequent to placement.
- Providing on-the-job training to students in work settings and/or support to co-workers to enable students to become competent and independent.
- Promoting integration with other employees in the workplace.
- Monitoring the performance of workers and to keep appropriate records.
- Undertake necessary administrative duties relating to the role of the job coach.
What We Can Offer You
As the successful candidate, you will be offered a salary of between £27,654 - £32,272per annum based upon a combination of the skills, knowledge and experience that you can bring to the role.
