Job summary

Manor Green School in Maidenhead is seeking a proactive Careers and Enterprise team member to support young people with learning difficulties to access supported internships, work placements, and develop independence for future progression.

The role involves engaging with employers to source and set up placements, ensuring health and safety, safeguarding and monitoring are in place. IT literacy and organisational skills are essential for success.

Job description

Workingwith our Careers and Enterprise team you will provide support to enable youngpeople with learning difficulties and other disabilities to successfully engagewith supported internships, work placements, carry out tasks at work anddevelop their independence and ability to progress to work in the future.

The role also includes engaging with andsupporting employers to source and set up new placements and ensure thatappropriate health and safety, safe guarding and monitoring processes are inplace.

You must be able to engage with potentialemployers and secure work opportunities for students. You will need a car andbusiness insurance.
