An established charity is seeking a part-time Employment Advisor to support individuals with mental health needs in Kingston and surrounding areas. This role offers flexible hours, allowing you to work 20 hours a week over 3 or 4 days. You'll be responsible for guiding job seekers through their employment journey, providing essential support such as CV writing and interview preparation. Would you like to support individuals with mental health support needs into employment? We are looking for a dedicated employment advisor to join a well-regarded charity, tasked by the DWP to assist a group of 30 job seekers (aged 18+) across Kingston, Wandsworth, and Richmond.
This role is approximately 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday (between 9 am and 5 pm). You can choose to spread these hours over 3 or 4 days based on your availability. It is a fixed-term contract until 30th September 2025, with a target to help 9 individuals into employment during this period. There is potential for extension, as the charity aims to retain staff where possible.
You must have experience as an employment advisor or similar (e.g., job coach, careers advisor, employment consultant), be able to start quickly, and have a genuine motivation for part-time work.
