NOCN is seeking to recruit a Job Cards Product Developer to work on a full-time permanent basis as part of the Job Cards Product and Services team. The role is home/mobile.

*Annual car allowance of £5,563 included!

Purpose and Objectives:

The purpose of the role is to review existing Plant Training Standards and develop new training standards related to NOCN Card Scheme Products, including CPCS and assured card schemes, SiteRight (short and assured plant training). The role involves ensuring technical accuracy of theory and practical testing, on-site assessments, renewal testing, and other Card Schemes related training, assessment, and testing products. The role also includes managing the review and development processes, including the implementation of all Card Scheme associated documentation and publications.

A primary objective is to work alongside the Head of Card Schemes and the Quality and Development Manager in consulting with industry federations, committee forums, associations, and other specialists or working groups, ensuring the Card Schemes products are technically correct and maintaining our status as the exemplar scheme.

The role holder must have technical knowledge and practical plant experience, including a working knowledge of the CPCS Scheme and plant categories, as well as training development and delivery.

About you..

The ideal successful candidate will need to meet the following must have criteria:

  • Demonstrate literacy, numeracy, Word & Excel (minimum Level 2).
  • Educated to Level 3 or equivalent (in a relevant discipline), with willingness to work towards Level 4.
  • Hold a H&S Qualification minimum Level 2.
  • In-depth traceable experience in the plant operations sector and related qualifications, training, development, and delivery.
  • Knowledge of how Quality Assurance fits into products.
  • Working knowledge of CPCS plant categories, theory and practical testing, and training standards.
  • Full UK Driving License.

Useful to have criteria:

  • Qualifications or training in change management or project management.
  • Assessor, IQA, EQA qualification and experience.
  • Experience in chairing meetings.
  • Experience in influencing others/groups.
