Job summary

Johnson Matthey, Inc. is seeking a JMPS Specialist to support the development and deployment of the Johnson Matthey Production System (JMPS) toolkit. You will implement JMPS at a plant per the plan and ensure tools are teachable and self-service friendly.

You will coach teams to continuously improve performance across a complex manufacturing site. Applicants should have a bachelor’s in engineering and hands-on experience with manufacturing systems, KPI analysis, SAP, Excel, and Power BI.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related Operational Engineering field with 2 years of related work experience.
At least 1 year in manufacturing as SME on production systems, KPI/data analysis, SMED, standard work, deployment sheets, and continuous improvement.
At least 1 year experience with SAP Production Module, Excel and Power BI, and 5S for production planning and analysis.

Responsibilities

Support development and deployment of the JMPS toolkit across plants.
Train and coach teams to use JMPS tools for continuous performance improvement.
Identify strengths and weaknesses in deployment plans and adjust support accordingly.
Lead/co-ordinate multi-discipline teams across shifts and production lines.
