Job summary

Lanes Group is seeking a JetVac Assistant for the Chester Depot to operate as part of a two-person team. The role runs Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with a salary of £13–£14 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in a two-person team.
• Desirable: strong health and safety awareness.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors.
• Basic IT skills and accurate completion of job sheets and RAMS.
• Drainage, construction, utilities, or plant operation experience is desirable but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence (required).

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery.
• High-pressure water jetting to clean drains, sewers and pipework.
• Communicate with customers about scheduled works and address concerns.
• Assist in identifying drainage issues including blockages and root ingress.
• Remove waste materials and prevent build-up in wastewater systems.
• Complete RAMS under supervision.
