Job summary

Alexander Ash Consulting is seeking an experienced Java/Spring Boot Developer for a leading banking client. You will design, develop and maintain scalable Java applications and Spring Boot microservices within a fast‑paced financial services environment.

You will collaborate with architects, product owners and other engineering teams to deliver secure, high‑quality solutions, leveraging AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, CI/CD and agile methodologies.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
• Previous experience within banking or financial services.
• Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with JUnit, Mockito and automated testing.
• Exposure to AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker and CI/CD.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum development.
• Strong coding, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Experience working on high‑volume, enterprise‑scale applications is desirable.
