Job summary

Alexander Ash Consulting is seeking an experienced Java / Spring Boot Engineer to join a high-performing technology team focused on banking applications.

You will build scalable, secure, high-performance Java services using Spring Boot, microservices and REST APIs, collaborating closely with architects, product teams and other engineers in a modern Agile environment. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with Java 8+ and Spring Boot.
• Experience developing microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Experience within banking or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD.
• Strong understanding of TDD, automated testing and Agile methodologies.
• Experience working on high-volume, mission-critical applications.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
