The Recruitment Company is seeking a Software Engineer with strong Java and Kubernetes skills to join a Belfast-based team on a long-term contract. You will build and maintain backend services, deploying and managing microservices in Kubernetes and collaborating with cloud/DevOps teams to support CI/CD.

The role is mid-level with 3-4 days of home working per week and a day rate of £300-£400 outside IR35, offering a hands-on chance to impact enterprise applications in a modern cloud-native

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, deployment and management in containerised environments.
• Experience with Docker, containerisation and microservices architectures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
• Exposure to cloud platforms, ideally AWS.
• Well versed with latest AI developer tooling.
