Job summary

TrueNorth® is seeking backend and platform engineers to develop critical digital services. You will work on scalable, cloud-based microservices, API-driven applications and automated testing within agile delivery teams.

You'll contribute to CI/CD, best practices in engineering, and build resilient cloud-native solutions while collaborating across multidisciplinary teams on modern software delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven backend development experience with Java and Kotlin.
• Experience building API-driven microservices and scalable cloud-native solutions.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, asynchronous messaging and data stores.
• Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines and modern dev-ops tooling.
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with AWS/Azure/GCP services and infrastructure as code.

Job description

We're currently supporting multiple backend and platform engineering opportunities focused on the development of critical digital services. These contracts offer the chance to work on high-profile programmes, building scalable, cloud-based solutions whilst collaborating within multidisciplinary agile delivery teams.

The successful candidates will be involved in developing resilient microservices, API-driven applications, automated testing frameworks and cloud-native solutions, while contributing to best practice engineering, CI/CD and modern software delivery.
