Job summary

Accenture plc is seeking a Software Engineer (Java) to join our London-area delivery teams. The role is associated with an Associate Manager level and requires delivering high-quality, tested code in an agile scrum setting.

Location includes London and other UK cities, with on-site collaboration and a strong focus on digital transformation engagements. A competitive benefits package accompanies the position.

Qualifications

• Excellent hands-on experience with Java and associated technologies.
• Experience working with Spring Boot.
• Hands-on knowledge of open-source tools, libraries and standards.
• Some working knowledge of containers (Docker).
• Strong experience of Test Driven Development, test coverage and test automation.
• Experience in DevOps tooling and Continuous Delivery.

Role: Software Engineer (Java)
Level: Associate Manager

Location: London, Bristol, Manchester and Birmingham

Salary: Competitive salary and package (Depending on level of experience)

The Role

We are looking for experience in the following skills

• Excellent hands-on experience with Java and associated technologies.
• Experience working with Spring Boot.
• Hands-on knowledge of open-source tools, libraries and standards.
• Some working knowledge of containers (Docker).
• Strong experience of working in Test Driven Development, test coverage, unit tests, feature tests and test automation.
• Experience in DevOps tooling and Continuous Delivery.
• Good knowledge of non-functional drivers for design, including an ability to performance tune, profile, and debug applications.
• Knowledge of both traditional and agile delivery methods.
• Drive and desire to further your skillset and lead in the application domain.
• Good knowledge of Open source and open standards.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge and demonstrable experience of both traditional and agile delivery methods.
