Job summary

ConSol Partners is seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer in Glasgow for a hybrid role delivering secure, scalable enterprise applications in financial services. You will design, develop and maintain core systems using Java, Spring Boot, and modern front-end frameworks such as Angular or React.

You will collaborate across teams to implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and robust CI/CD pipelines in a regulated industry, with ongoing opportunities to transition to permanent employment.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Front End development expertise using Angular and/or React.
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience working within financial services, banking, insurance, or other regulated environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working within Agile delivery teams.

Responsibilities

Location: Glasgow (Hybrid - Minimum 2 Days Onsite Per Week)

Salary: Up to £500 per day (Inside IR35)

Contract: Initial 6-Month Contract with a Strong View to Permanent Employment

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer to join a newly established engineering capability delivering strategic technology solutions within the financial services sector.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer with strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot alongside Angular and/or React. You'll play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering secure, scalable, enterprise-grade applications while contributing to engineering standards and best practices across multiple high-profile projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Previous consulting experience.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and contributing to engineering best practices.
