Job summary

Diverse Lynx, LLC is seeking a skilled software engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and modern frontend tech. You will build robust backend services, RESTful APIs, and microservices, while optimizing database schemas in MongoDB and CockroachDB.

The role emphasizes secure authentication with OAuth2/JWT, comprehensive testing with JUnit/Mockito, and collaboration across cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Java with Spring ecosystem and modern frontend stack.
• Experience designing RESTful services and microservices architectures.
• Strong database design with NoSQL and distributed SQL databases.
• Familiarity with security protocols such as OAuth2 and JWT.
• Solid testing with JUnit/Mockito and TDD/BDD practices.
• Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and modern frontend technologies.
• Develop robust backend services, RESTful APIs, and microservices using Java, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, and Hibernate/JPA.
• Design, develop, and optimize database schemas, queries, and data models using MongoDB and CockroachDB.
• Implement database integration, indexing, aggregation pipelines, transaction management, and query optimization.
• Develop distributed and highly available applications leveraging CockroachDB's distributed SQL architecture and MongoDB's NoSQL capabilities.
• Integrate frontend components with backend services and third-party APIs.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and application security using Spring Security, OAuth2, and JWT.
• Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code following software engineering best practices.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and performance optimization using JUnit, Mockito, and related testing frameworks.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA engineers, and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Work with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes for version control, build automation, and deployment.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, sprint planning, and Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure system reliability, scalability, and availability.
