Job summary

LSEG ищет опытного Backend-инженера на Scala для разработки и поддержки масштабируемых сервисов в распределенной среде. Требуется глубокое знание event-driven архитектуры, Docker/Kubernetes и CI/CD в GitLab, а также опыт с Kafka и тестированием.

Участие в проектировании, код-ревью и тесное взаимодействие с cross-функциональными командами обязательно. Требуется опыт работы с Java и ReactJS, знание AWS и PostgreSQL приветствуется.

Qualifications

• Опыт разработки backend-сервисов на Scala с акцентом на масштабируемость и отказоустойчивость.
• Глубокое понимание доменно-ориентированного проектирования и принципов event-driven архитектуры.
• Опыт работы с Docker, Kubernetes и построением DevOps пайплайнов (GitLab).
• Знание Kafka, MQ и тестирования уровня shift-left (JUnit, Cucumber, Gherkin, Pact).
• Опыт разработки веб-приложений на Java и ReactJS будет преимуществом.

Требования

• Strong understanding of event-driven microservices architecture, including design pitfalls and best practices;


• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design and event-driven architecture principles;


• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes;


• Experience with event-driven communication patterns;


• Expertise in building and maintaining DevOps pipelines, ideally with GitLab;


• Experience with shift-left testing using JUnit, Cucumber, Gherkin, PACT, and Test Containers;


• Working knowledge of Kafka and MQ;


• Advanced Scala programming skills across functional and object-oriented paradigms;


• Practical expertise with Scala, Akka, Play Framework, Cats, and Scalaz;


• Experience delivering enterprise-grade Scala applications in production environments;


• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, concurrency, and multithreading;


• Strong SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases such as Postgres;


• Working knowledge of object storage solutions such as AWS S3;


• Familiarity with Flyway and Liquibase;


• Experience with major public cloud platforms, preferably AWS;


• Hands-on experience with AWS Aurora, MSK, S3, and IAM;


• Basic understanding of cloud networking concepts;


• Strong understanding of and commitment to agile working;


• Experience with Scrum and Kanban;


• Experience participating in sprint ceremonies, including Product Backlog Refinement;


• Proven collaboration with cross-functional teams in scaled agile environments;


• Experience writing applications using Java;


• Experience developing web applications using ReactJS.
