Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and advanced applied experience.
• Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced proficiency in programming with Java.
• Proficient in SDLC and agile practices including CI/CD, resilience, and security.
• Experience leading effective use of approved AI-assisted development tools and setting team expectations for AI outputs.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows and data handling.

Responsibilities

• Execute creative software solutions, including design, development, and debugging to solve complex problems.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and review code written by others.
• Promote enterprise-approved AI-assisted engineering practices to improve quality, speed, and operations while enforcing validation standards.
• Leverage SDLC tools and enterprise AI-assisted development capabilities to improve automation value.
• Identify opportunities to automate recurring remediation to improve stability and resiliency of software systems.
• Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams on architecture and technical fit for existing systems.
• Lead communities of practice in software engineering and promote adoption of new technologies aligned to standards.
