Information Tech Consultants is seeking a Software Developer (Java) for on-site roles in London, Bournemouth, or Scotland. You will design, code, test, and maintain scalable Java applications within an agile squad, delivering end-to-end software solutions.

The role requires 2-5 years of Java experience, with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and modern frontend skills. You’ll collaborate in sprints, review code, and ensure high-quality, OO-based design.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java, Multithreading, and Spring (Boot, Security, Data JPA).
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Expert Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab CI).

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Development: design and develop high-volume, low-latency apps.
• Back-End Excellence: write clean, maintainable Java code in Spring Boot.
• Front-End Innovation: build responsive UI with React/Angular/Vue.js.
• Database Management: optimize relational and NoSQL schemas.
• API Design: design and consume RESTful APIs.
• Collaboration: participate in code reviews and agile ceremonies.
• OOP: apply solid object-oriented programming principles.
