Job summary

Halian | Managed Services, Recruitment Agency & Contract Staffing partners with a fast-growing HealthTech scale-up in the UK to hire two Senior Java Developers. You will join a high-performing team of 20+ engineers, working on greenfield and evolving systems within a full-stack, microservices architecture that directly improves patient care.

The role focuses on scalable Java microservices, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and collaboration with Product and stakeholders to shape the technical roadmap

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience in Java and microservices architecture.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Exposure to AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Spring Boot or modern Java frameworks.
• Experience delivering SaaS platforms in regulated or large-scale environments.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing scalable Java-based microservices.
• Contributing to greenfield development and system architecture.
