Job summary

Acquire Me is seeking a Software Engineer to join a Front Office Technology team responsible for developing business-critical applications used across trading, operations, finance, and data functions.

This highly visible role offers end-to-end ownership of projects, direct interaction with stakeholders, and the chance to work on large-scale distributed systems, data platforms, and modern AI tooling.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience building production software.
• Strong development experience in Java, C#, Scala, Kotlin, or a similar language.
• Experience building backend systems, distributed applications, or data-intensive platforms.
• Strong understanding of databases, SQL, and system integration.
• Ability to take ownership of projects from requirements through to production.
• Strong communication skills and experience working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend applications and distributed systems.
• Develop internal platforms, APIs, and data-driven services used across the business.
• Work directly with front-office and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
• Contribute to architecture, system design, and long-term technology strategy.
• Improve the reliability, scalability, and performance of existing systems.
• Contribute to AI-enabled applications and workflows where appropriate.
