Job summary

Bally’s Intralot is hiring for a Sports API Engineer to join the Matchday team in the UK. You will help build Online Sportsbook APIs powering Bally Bet, collaborating with our Sports UI, Platform and Data teams and third-party providers.

You’ll ship robust services with high throughput and reliability on AWS using Java 17/21, Spring Boot, Docker and Kafka. Join during the launch phase as Bally Bet migrates to our new APIs and UIs, working in an agile environment with continuous delivery and a

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of Java and API design.
• Experience with Spring Boot and microservices.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes and cloud services (AWS).
• Experience designing scalable APIs (GraphQL/REST).

Responsibilities

• Develop product features, updates and capabilities.
• Apply TDD to produce high-quality, well-documented code.
• Design and develop customer-focused solutions.
• Work with agile teams to achieve goals.
• Collaborate across UI, Platform and Data teams and with data providers.
