A Japanese financial institution is currently recruiting a Japanese speaking Transaction Banking Specialist (Vice President / Associate level) to work in their London office.

Responsibilities include:

1. Managing customer requirements and inquiries for e-banking/local channel products
2. Conducting client onboarding and implementation for these products
3. Supporting customer support at EMEA branches
4. Collaborating with GTBD members

The ideal candidate should have experience in cash management products, strong communication skills in English and Japanese, and proficiency in MS Office.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage and handle customer inquiries for e-banking/local channel products and cash transactions
• Conduct sales demonstrations for e-banking/local channel products
• Client onboarding and agreement customization
• Support customer support at EMEA branches
• Coordinate with IT and other departments on product matters
• Assist with ad-hoc projects like client migration
• Maintain good relationships with stakeholders

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Experience in banking, especially cash management and e-banking implementation
• Proficiency in pitching and presenting e-banking and CMS products
• Knowledge of transaction, payment, FX operations
• Basic understanding of SWIFT, UK, and European payment markets
• Fluent in Japanese (mandatory)
• Proficient in PC skills and understanding of bank procedures
• Basic knowledge of UK and European regulations and ERP/TMS systems
• IT knowledge including networks, file formats, databases, and security
