Job summary

Aioi R&D Lab – Oxford, an AI R&D company, seeks a Programme Financial Reporting Lead to coordinate UK-Japanese reporting, budgeting and governance. You will liaise with the Programme Director, Finance teams and partners to ensure timely, accurate reporting and audit-ready documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in programme financial reporting and budget monitoring.
• Advanced Excel skills for audit-ready reporting and data integrity.
• Experience coordinating financial reporting within complex programmes or projects.
• Experience managing expense reporting and supporting documentation.
• Fluent in Japanese and English with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preparation and submission of programme financial and expense reports to CODAS, NEDO and Japanese stakeholders.
• Validate financial records and supporting documentation for completeness and correctness.
• Collaborate with Finance teams and track leads to resolve discrepancies and improve reporting quality.
• Maintain financial reporting trackers, expenditure records and budget monitoring information.
• Support forecasting, audits, and funding inspections with organized records.
