Job summary

Aioi Nissay Dowa Europe invites applications for a Programme Finance Officer to support the CODAS R&D Programme from Oxford. You will coordinate financial reporting, ensure accuracy of documents, and work with UK and Japanese partners to deliver timely governance and funding compliance.

The role requires advanced Excel and bilingual English/Japanese communication. Join a cross-border team delivering high-impact AI research funding initiatives with robust governance, reporting, and collaboration

Qualifications

• Experience in programme financial reporting and budget monitoring with relevant qualification (e.g. CIMA).
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot tables, LOOKUP, complex formulas and financial reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preparation and submission of programme financial and expense reports to CODAS, NEDO and Japanese stakeholders.
• Validate financial records and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Collaborate with Finance teams to resolve discrepancies and improve reporting quality.
• Maintain budget monitoring information and audit-ready records.
• Serve as primary operational liaison with Japanese stakeholders using language and cultural understanding.
