Job summary

Robertson Group is seeking a dedicated Janitor for Rosehearty School in Rosehearty, AB43 7JL. The role involves routine and planned janitorial tasks, supervising cleaning staff, and ensuring safe operation of energy systems on site.

The position is permanent, part-time (8 hours per week) with a pay rate of £14.20 per hour. A PVG check is required prior to starting. Robertson emphasises safety, teamwork and high standards across all sites.

Qualifications

• Awareness of Health & Safety issues and the need for safe methods of working.
• Awareness of COSHH regulations.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out routine and ad-hoc janitorial duties in support of all on site personnel to ensure compliance with contract conditions.
• Carrying out planned janitorial maintenance duties in accordance with agreed timescales and procedures and undertake any property maintenance work within the post holder's range of competence.
• Supervising, developing and monitoring of all cleaning staff to ensure cleaning standards are maintained in accordance with contract conditions and agreed quality management procedures.
• Maintaining the safe and efficient operation of all the school's energy systems in accordance with agreed contract conditions.
• Providing support and assistance to any other sites as directed by the Lead Janitor or Facilities Manager.

Working hours: 8 hours per week: Tuesday 5:15pm to 8:15pm, 6:45pm to 9:15pm, Saturday 9:45am to 12:15pm

Your new role

What you'll do:
