Job summary

CDP Cambridge Design Partnership seeks a senior technical leader to guide multidisciplinary teams in delivering medical device and IVD development programmes from concept to launch.

You will act as a trusted sector representative to clients, mentor staff, grow long-term relationships, and collaborate with EU/USA teams to win opportunities. The role is full-time, hybrid with on-site Cambridge work and international travel.

Qualifications

• Career experience in medical device development.
• Experience leading large development projects.
• Account management and technical lead for sales meetings and proposals.
• Degree-level education in Mechanical Eng, Physics or Natural Sciences.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of client projects with high technical quality.
• Mentor and develop team knowledge in IVD and life sciences.
• Nurture internal Diagnostics sector specialists and recruit where needed.
• Develop long-term client relationships with client managers.
• Represent the sector at conferences and events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
