Job summary

North Hampshire Urgent Care is seeking two Assistant Operations Managers to join the Integrated Urgent Care (IUC) team in a fast-paced 24/7 environment in Farnborough and Hook. You will work with the Operations Manager and clinical teams to support safe, effective patient care and continuous service improvement.

As a substantive operational leader, you will drive day-to-day service delivery, workforce coordination, governance processes, performance monitoring and escalation management, with

Qualifications

Good standard of education including GCSE English and Mathematics (Grade 4/C or above) or equivalent.
NVQ Level 3/4, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or equivalent experience
Evidence of continuing professional development

Responsibilities

Provide operational leadership to the IUC service on a day-to-day basis.
Monitor service activity and KPIs, escalating issues as needed.
Coordinate workforce deployment, recruitment, onboarding and staff development.
Support governance processes, including incidents, complaints and quality improvement initiatives.
Assist with business continuity and service escalation management.
