Cleantech Impact Partners Ltd is seeking an ITT / Bid Writer for Defence and National Security to join their team. You will pull experts' insights into compliant, well-structured responses for UK government tenders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years writing bids for UK government tenders; MOD, FCDO, Cabinet Office or Home Office experience welcome.
• Clear, confident writing style with strong attention to detail.
• Understanding of how government evaluators score responses.
• Current or previous SC or DV clearance is advantageous.
• Interest in defence, security, stabilisation or international development.

ITT / Bid Writer - Defence & National Security

Our client is an award-winning strategic communications and research consultancy. They work for UK government and international clients, often in fragile and conflict-affected countries, and their UK government work is growing. They now need a bid writer who knows their way around a government tender.

You’ll sit alongside the directors and programme leads, pulling their expertise into well-structured, compliant responses. Day to day, that means:

• Writing and editing ITT and framework responses, including methodology, social value, case studies and key personnel CVs
• Getting what you need out of busy subject-matter experts
• Keeping submissions on track against tight deadlines
• Building up a content library so you aren’t starting from scratch each time

What they’re looking for:

• 3+ years writing bids, including UK government tenders. MOD, FCDO, Cabinet Office or Home Office experience would be ideal.
• A clear, confident writing style and a good eye for detail
• An understanding of how government evaluators score responses
• Current or previous SC or DV clearance, which would be a real advantage
• An interest in defence, security, stabilisation or international development

You’ll work closely with the senior team, so your work will be seen and valued, and there’s room to grow with the business.

Salary: £50,000-£62,000 DOE plus benefits package.
