Job summary

The London Metal Exchange Limited is seeking an IT Service Manager to partner with IT and business leaders to plan capacity, prioritise changes, and implement robust monitoring and alerting for critical trading applications.

You will drive data-informed decisions, collaborate across teams, and help ensure timely, high-quality IT services in a fast-paced financial environment.

Qualifications

• ITIL qualification or strong demonstrable experience in an ITIL environment.
• Professional knowledge of technologies aligned to the role with appropriate certifications.
• Experience managing a support function within an ITIL environment in a Financial Services company focusing on Incident, Problem, Change and Release Management.
• Understanding and experience of real time market data and high volume trading systems.
• Ideally experience of working within an Exchange or Clearing House.
• Demonstrable experience of supporting critical applications.
• Demonstrable experience of defining SLAs and Service Procedures for an application support environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with IT Service Providers and business to understand current and future capacity needs.
• Work with IT Leadership, LME Business and LME IT Change Managers to prioritise and schedule changes and maintenance releases.
• Partner with service providers to implement and maintain application monitoring and alerting.
• Present ideas clearly and collaborate with other business partners; drive innovative, solution-based approaches to remove barriers in ITSM.
• Make timely, data-informed decisions and take accountability for outcomes.
• Solve challenging problems and deliver high-quality design solutions under conflicting requirements and risks.
