Job summary

Personal care is required due to double incontinence and a driving licence would be advantageous for easier transport to activities. Right to work in the UK applies.

Qualifications

• Experience in personal care and safeguarding would be beneficial.
• Ability to engage a non-verbal child and support social development.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to the child as needed.
• Accompany to community activities to develop social skills.
• Support communication through non-verbal cues and activities.
• Assist with transportation using a car when required.

Job description

We are looking for a Personal Assistant/Support Worker to support a 14-year-old non-verbal girl with taking her into the community to develop her social skills.

ITH likes playing ball games, companion cycling, going to the local playground and park. ITH also enjoys swimming so the ideal PA would be someone who likes going to swimming pool.

The job includes personal care as ITH is double incontinent.

Driving licence and a car would be beneficial for the role.
