IT Training Manager/Senior IT Trainer
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an IT Training Manager/Senior IT Trainer to join our London-based law firm on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Oversight and delivery of IT training and post-training support for all users in Windows, Microsoft 365, NetDocuments (DMS), Aderant (PMS), Peppermint (CRM), SharePoint, Intranet portal, HighQ, Bundledocs, Definely, and other applications or systems used by the firm.
- IT induction for new permanent and temporary staff joining the firm.
- Development, preparation, and administration of internal training courses and materials to support the delivery requirements.
- Innovate training delivery methods to simplify processes and increase engagement.
- Facilitate business improvements by investigating issues or opportunities and recommending solutions.
- Manage team workloads, staffing, including absences, recruitment, discipline, development, and appraisals.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Outstanding knowledge and experience of all Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Word.
- Ability to confidently deliver training in plain English, demystifying IT concepts.
- Proven ability to enhance user competence and enthusiasm with information technologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with effective listening skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Analytical mindset with great attention to detail.
- Excellent documentation and authoring skills.
- Ability to deliver training to staff at all levels and varying technical abilities.
- A minimum of two years' experience in delivering training.
- Experience in a corporate, client-facing training and support role, preferably within the legal sector or professional services.
