Job summary

Circle Group is seeking an IT trainer to design, develop and deliver training on legal and Windows applications. The role includes induction training for new joiners and ongoing training for existing users, plus delivering sessions via classroom, one-to-one, deskside coaching, webinars, and e-learning.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organisational abilities, with good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and legal IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver training programs for legal and Windows applications.

• Work with IT staff to support Microsoft Office and legal applications like case management systems such as BigHand, iManage, Elite 3E.
• Create, write, and update course materials and training content.
• Provide training consultation and support internal projects to launch new software across the business.

Salary: £45,000 - 45,000 per year

Requirements

• We want someone with good experience in legal applications such as BigHand, iManage, Intapp, Elite 3E, MatterSphere, or similar systems.
• We are open to candidates from an IT Trainer background, IT Support background, or a fee earner/end user background with experience using legal applications.
• We expect good knowledge of Microsoft 365.
• We value a broad technical understanding of legal IT software systems and services, including time recording and document management systems.
• We need excellent communication and organisational skills to provide clear, concise instruction and feedback to staff.

Responsibilities

• We will need you to design, develop, and deliver training programs to enhance staff skills and understanding of legal and Windows applications.
• You will deliver new joiner induction training and ongoing training for existing users.
• You will provide IT training through classroom sessions, one-to-one training, deskside coaching, presentations, floor walking, webinars, and e-learning.
• You will work with other IT staff to provide how-to support for Microsoft Office applications and legal applications such as our case management systems, BigHand, iManage, and Elite 3E.
• You will create, write, and update course materials, exercises, and other training content to agreed standards.
• You will provide training consultation and support internal projects to help launch new software effectively across the business.

We are a growing legal firm based in the Midlands, offering a hybrid working pattern with 2 or 3 days in the office and the remaining days working from home. We provide an attractive salary of up to £45,000 and a supportive, friendly working environment. Our training team works closely with IT colleagues to support staff across the business and help deliver effective adoption of new legal software and systems.
