Job summary

The Laurus Trust is seeking a technician to support its 17 schools, focusing on first-line IT support and keeping the school networks reliable for staff and students.

You will help maintain network infrastructure, deliver high-quality IT services across the Trust, and support flexible working arrangements from day one.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English at grade A* to C or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a similar IT-based role.
• Computer hardware knowledge and understanding of IT systems.

Job description

The Laurus Trust's dedicated IT team is recruiting a technician to support its 17 schools, from primary and secondary to sixth form and alternative provision. The work centres on first-line technical support and helping maintain the network, so staff and students have reliable access to technology. The setting is fast-paced, serving over 10,000 users, and flexible working is offered from the outset. A full application is required rather than a CV, and visa sponsorship is not available.
