Job summary

The Methodist Church in Britain is seeking an IT Technician to join the Laurus Trust IT team, supporting staff, students and over 10,000 users across multiple schools. You will provide first-line technical assistance and contribute to network maintenance, ensuring reliable access to technology in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have prior IT experience, GCSEs in Maths and English, and are able to work flexibly with part-time or compressed hours where feasible.

Job description

This IT Technician post sits in the Laurus Trust's IT team, which supports the Trust's 6 secondary, 6 primary, 4 sixth form and 1 alternative provision schools. The work centres on first-line support for staff and students, plus help maintaining network infrastructure. The team serves over 10,000 users in a fast-paced setting.
