Central IT Technician required. Our client is an established Multi-Academy Trust developing collaborative partnerships with academies across the Humber region. They are seeking an IT Technician to join their team based at South Hunsley School & Sixth Form College in Melton.

The successful candidate will be part of a friendly IT team, working together to deliver high-quality IT support to staff and students via their ticket system. You will be supported by an experienced team with clear escalation routes, training, and regular feedback. Your role will include providing 1st line support and, on occasion, 2nd line support.

Position Overview
  • This role involves troubleshooting and problem-solving. A solution-focused approach and troubleshooting experience will enable you to support and resolve a wide range of issues from initial contact to resolution. You will cover all aspects of technology, including networking, servers, and end-user devices such as hardware, DNS/IP/DHCP/Active Directory, and more.
Position Requirements
  • Experience in an ICT support role
  • Knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows Server 2012 R2+
  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
  • Driving license, as you may need to attend other sites
Position Remuneration
  • 37 hours per week
  • £18,933 per annum
  • 22 holiday days plus bank holidays
  • LinkedIn Learning account and support with gaining MCSA qualifications
  • Free parking on site
  • 2 hours per week dedicated to personal learning
