Job summary

North East Surrey College of Technology (NESCOT) is seeking a capable IT Support Officer to provide first-line support to students and staff, troubleshoot hardware, software and AV equipment, and ensure smooth operation of college systems.

You will work closely with the Learning Resource Centre and IT teams to deliver excellent customer service in a busy environment, with safeguarding commitments emphasised.

Qualifications

• An IT-related qualification and previous experience in an IT-based role.
• Good knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems and cloud services.
• Excellent customer service, communication and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to work effectively in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support to students and staff, troubleshooting issues and supporting hardware, software, AV equipment and College systems.
• Support the effective day-to-day operation of the Learning Resource Centre.
• Deliver excellent customer service and technical support, working closely with the LRC and wider IT teams to provide a positive experience for students and staff.
