Laurus Trust is seeking a Senior IT Technician to oversee the IT Helpdesk, ensuring high-quality second-line support and smooth daily operations. You will lead IT Technicians, coordinate tasks, and help drive service improvements across multiple schools within the trust.

This role emphasizes customer focus, reliability, and collaboration with the Trust IT Manager to deliver an efficient IT service across 6 secondary, 6 primary, 4 sixth forms and 1 provision site, supporting over 10,000 users.

Qualifications

• Direct experience in an IT support/helpdesk.
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting IT systems.

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day IT Helpdesk operations and daily admin of the department.
• Coordinate IT Technicians and support the IT Manager to deliver a reliable, customer-focused IT service.

As a Senior IT Technician, you will help manage the day-to-day operation of the IT Helpdesk, providing high-quality second-line support whilst supporting the Trust IT Manager in delivering an efficient, reliable and customer-focused IT service. You will lead by example, coordinate the work of IT Technicians and contribute to a wide range of infrastructure, systems and service improvement projects.,

• To manage the day-to-day work of the IT Helpdesk, taking responsibility for the daily administration and operation of the department and work closely with the IT Managers, assisting and enabling them in their role.
  Sound educational background including GCSE's in Maths and English (A-C) or equivalent.
• Direct experience in an IT Support/helpdesk.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe CC and other relevant IT packages
