Qualifications

• 3+ years working as a Technical Lead/Solution Architect and a proven ability to deliver IT Infrastructure projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills, effective at all levels.
• A broad knowledge of IT Infrastructure technology, current trends.
• Experience of delivering solutions in Manufacturing or Engineering environments desirable.
• Understanding frameworks such as ITIL, PRINCE2, and TOGAF.
• Strong consulting skills and experience able to shape and drive consultative outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership in transforming requirements into solutions and technical designs.
• Deliver strategic business, information and technology service architecture development, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Responsible for the definition and delivery of the technical aspects of the projects, including the timely production of designs and documentation.
• Coordinate implementation and dependencies across multiple IT teams.
• Support the technical development activities like shaping and designing solution architectures for a proposal.
• Define and continuously refine the delivery approach for optimal efficiency.

Our client is seeking an experienced and technically accomplished IT Technical Lead to oversee the design, technical direction, solution architecture and delivery of complex IT infrastructure solutions within the manufacturing and engineering sector.

The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the technical delivery of multiple engineering projects ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, secure and aligned with customer requirements, industry standards and best practices.

Working closely with project managers, engineering teams, customers and technology partners, you will take ownership of technical architecture, design governance and integration activities while providing leadership to the wider team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT Architect or Senior IT Engineer looking to take a leading role in delivering advanced manufacturing technology solutions within a technically challenging and highly regulated industry.
