Teaching Personnel are working alongside a thriving secondary school in Scarborough to recruit an enthusiastic and knowledgeable IT Teacher for a full-time position starting in September 2025. This is a long-term opportunity with potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
About the Role:
Teaching IT and Computer Science to students across Key Stages 3 and 4
Planning, delivering, and assessing engaging and interactive lessons
Supporting pupils of varying abilities to achieve strong progress
Working collaboratively with the department and wider school staff
Participating in school-wide CPD and development initiatives
What We’re Looking For:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification
Experience teaching IT and/or Computer Science in UK secondary schools
Up-to-date knowledge of the national curriculum and exam board requirements
Strong classroom management and communication skills
A proactive and flexible approach to teaching and learning
