Job description

IT Teacher

Location: Ealing

Start Date: September 2025

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT specialist to deliver BTEC lessons.

Responsibilities:

1. Deliver high-quality BTEC lessons
2. Develop and implement engaging and challenging schemes of work
3. Assess and monitor student progress
4. Provide feedback and support to students to help them achieve their full potential
5. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective curriculum
6. Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in IT and computer science education

Requirements:

1. Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
2. A degree in IT, computer science, or a related subject
3. Experience teaching IT and computer science at KS3 and KS4 levels
4. Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for teaching
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
6. The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with the possibility of becoming permanent in the future.
