Job summary

Cellular Origins Ltd. in Cambridgeshire is seeking an IT Administrator to join our growing team. You’ll work with Head of IT to build, run and improve the technology that keeps Cellular Origins connected, secure and moving forward.

You’ll own Microsoft 365, cloud infrastructure, business apps and workplace tech, enabling a scalable environment and empowering colleagues to work efficiently. You’ll help deploy Windows devices with Autopilot and support our Melbourn office setup.

Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience administering Microsoft 365 in a live business environment, particularly Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online and Entra ID.
• Experience managing Windows devices using Intune, including Windows deployment and provisioning.
• Understanding of enterprise networking (VLANs, DHCP, DNS, wireless).
• PowerShell skills to automate tasks and generate reports.
• Ability to document clearly and explain technical decisions to non‑IT colleagues.
• Confidence working independently, setting priorities and delivering end‑to‑end solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build and secure our independent IT environment, delivering Microsoft 365 tenant migration and managing Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, Entra ID and Intune.
• Deploy Windows 11 devices using Autopilot, imaging and scripted provisioning to accelerate colleague onboarding.
• Establish and maintain network, wireless connectivity and workplace technology in the Melbourn office.
• Support and develop business applications including NetSuite, SharePoint intranet and Power Platform tools.
• Create documentation, implement controls and repeatable processes for maintainable IT systems.
• Automate repetitive tasks, explore new technologies and collaborate with suppliers to maximise IT investments.
