About the Role

A leading UK law firm based in the Northwest is looking for a Part-Time IT Support Technician to join their team in Blackburn. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong IT support experience to contribute to a dynamic and professional environment with flexible working options.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to IT support issues via phone, email, or in person
  • Provide first-line support and set up devices for new users
  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows systems and software
  • Monitor and maintain internal networks and cloud-based systems
  • Maintain software audit records and the VOIP phone system
  • Assist with legal software implementation and office IT setups

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and MS Office
  • Previous IT Helpdesk or support experience preferred
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, Windows Server, Ms Exchange, VPN
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn
  • Awareness of GDPR and Equality Standards
