We are hiring an Outpatient Rehab Technician at Frazier Rehab Institute, Springhurst on a PRN basis.

Job Summary

The Rehab Technician is a non-licensed caregiver working under the supervision of licensed therapists (Physical, Occupational, or Speech). Responsibilities include patient preparation, assisting with interventions, and post-treatment procedures. Duties also involve departmental organization, clerical tasks, and equipment maintenance.

Essential Functions
  • Assist with therapeutic interventions such as exercises, gait training, and daily activities as directed by therapists.
  • Set up equipment for evaluations and treatments.
  • Assist with patient transfers and transportation.
  • Record vital signs as needed.
  • Support therapists in monitoring patients using therapy equipment.
  • Manage departmental supplies and maintain cleanliness of treatment areas.
  • Perform clerical duties including answering phones, scheduling, and data entry.
  • Report patient status changes to supervising therapists.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of equipment and treatment areas.
Shift Requirements

Shifts may include evenings and weekends, depending on the setting.

Additional Responsibilities
  • Order repairs for equipment and ensure proper functioning.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED (required).
  • Previous clerical experience (preferred).
  • Experience as a Physical Therapy Technician (preferred).
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (required).
